How To Make Clara's Jumbo Crayon Keepers

 

Clara's crayon keepers are made from inexpensive clay pots that are available in your local craft and hobby stores. They can be painted in many different styles and colors, and are the perfect gift idea for your child's favorite Sunday School teacher!

Jumbo size keepers are great for the classroom, but smaller pots can be used to create a craft that your kids will be able to take home with them. They make great room decor, and are also a terrific way to get your kids to put their crayons away when they are finished coloring!

I use Modge Podge or water based varnish for sealing, since they are water soluble, and are available in several different finishes. Samson & Delilah Artwork

I love creating artwork for my favorite Bible stories. I chose this picture of Samson and Delilah from a Bible story coloring book, printed it on canvas paper, then painted with acrylic paints. Delilah's scarf is painted with a metallic silver, to give it the appearance of a shimmery fabric! This project is simple, inexpensive and fun to create.
